Paul Pogba To Sign And Rejoin Juventus, Tells Team Mates.

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has told his team-mates that he wants to rejoin Juventus. Corriere dello Sport reports Pogba is keen on a return to Turin, just two years after leaving for a world record fee. The France star made his name with Juventus, where he won the Serie A title in each of his four seasons with the Italian giants, as well as two Coppa Italias. Pogba left Juve to return to United for £89.3million in 2016. However he has fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho and wants to quit Old Trafford. Barcelona considered moving for Pogba in the summer and were prepared to meet his personal terms before shelving their interest.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has matched a 52 year-old England record. The United forward featured in victory over Croatia on Sunday. Rashford equalled a 52-year-old record for most appearances in a calendar year, according to The Times. The feat was first set by Jack Charlton in 1966. And just like then England played 17 games in 2018, their joint most of all time. There are 11 England stars on 15 appearances for a calendar year. They are: Roger Hunt, Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore, Nobby Stiles, George Cohen, Ray Wilson, Gordon Banks (all 1966), Gary Lineker, Des Walker (both 1990), John Stones and Eric Dier (both 2018).
