Berbatov And Jose Mourinho Clash Together As They Wants A New Defender.

Man UTD Boss/ berbatov clashes

Manchester United are not "short of money" and need to land two centre-halves during the January transfer window, claims Dimitar Berbatov.

The Red Devils spent much of the summer pursing defensive additions, only to be left empty-handed.

Jose Mourinho has continued to monitor the likes of Toby Alderweireld, with the Tottenham defender considered to figure on a wish list alongside the likes of Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin.

Berbatov believes United will need to dig deep in order to bring in two of those top targets, with frailties at the back continuing to hinder Mourinho's cause.

The former United striker has, however, warned that doing business over the winter will not be easy, or cheap.

“They need to reinforce at the back especially centre backs, one or two,” Berbatov told The Mirror.

“In every other position they have several quality players and everything they need, so just defence needs reinforcing. Hopefully they can find one or two and then they should be okay.

“It'll be more difficult in the winter transfer window then the summer one to make signings for Mourinho but he should be able to find one person he wants to bring in.

“So if there is someone he wants to bring in the board should listen to him because it's obvious that the club aren't perfect right now and aren't in the position that they want to be in. They need to improve on that, if it means bringing one or two people, it shouldn't be a problem.

“I mean it's not like Manchester United are short of money.”

The untold truth of Jet Li.

Whenever kung fu comes up in conversation, the movies of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan are inevitably discussed, but in his native China, Jet Li is held in equally high regard. He wasn't a "prodigy" student, however; in fact, becoming such an accomplished fighter was a real struggle. "It was my coach Wu Bin who helped me steer clear of all obstacles and encouraged me never to give up," Li said (via  Kung Fu Magazine ). He made the national Wushu team and  won  several championships, but Li decided to retire at 17 to concentrate on a career in the movies. He kic...

Senate passes electoral act for amendment bill

The Senate on Tuesday passed the fourth version of the Electoral Act 2010 (Amendment) Bill, 2018. President Muhammadu Buhari had declined assent to the bill three times, citing some constitutional and drafting issues. During the just-ended annual recess of the National Assembly, its Joint Committee on INEC met to work on the document based on the issues raised by the president. Tuesday’s passage of the bill followed the adoption of the report of the committee presented by its Chairman, Sen. Suleiman Nazif. Nazif had said that the committee addressed all the issues raised by the president in withdrawing assent to the bill. Speaking on the development, the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, said he hoped the president would now assent to the proposed law. “Let me congratulate all of us, particularly the Committee on Electoral Matters for the hard work they put in. “We were able to achieve this that looked almost impossible at a time, and I want to commend e...
